Shelter, Inc. is committed to the premise that domestic violence and sexual assault affect all social, economic, ethnic, age, color and gender groups as well as persons with disabilities. We believe these acts of violence have devastating effects on victims, their children, families, friends and our society at large. These acts of violence are criminal conduct that must not be tolerated. We are dedicated to promoting a comprehensive community response to domestic violence and sexual assault through education, prevention, intervention and aftercare services dedicated to diminishing violence and abuse.
